INTRODUCTION
The College hereby outlines the overriding principles that guide and support its provision of extra curriculum education and tutoring to students of all ages. The principles express the core beliefs, goals and values of the College.
1. PHILOSOPHY
The Bible, viewed as the divinely inspired Word of God, is a central part of the Christian Faith. Given that the Bible is the sole rule of faith for the Christian, any person who wishes to establish a Christian college must therefore begin at that point. The views and teaching of the Bible will be a foundation for any decision regarding the life and teaching that will take place within the College.
Matters of curriculum content will be tested and measured against scripture. Our understanding of the nature of human thinking, behaviour, and learning will be drawn from the Bible and then, in turn, direct us in our development of curriculum, discipline and teaching that will prepare our students to effectively participate in the Australian and International community.
To establish the base for our system of principles the following statements have been prepared into a “Statement of Faith”. The “Statement of Faith” is not presumed to be a complete and comprehensive outline of all Christian teaching on all subjects but is an attempt to set forth fundamental truths that will guide the college as it seeks to take its place in contemporary societies in Australia and abroad as stated in Matthew 28: 18 – 20.
2. STATEMENTS OF FAITH
In accordance with the Evangelical stance taken by the College, we believe the following statements to be true.
We believe
- that the 66 books of the Bible are the Word of God, divinely inspired in all parts1 without error in its origin2 and the sole authority for doctrine and practice3;
- in the one Triune God4, eternally existent as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit5, who created the physical universe by His direct and immediate spoken word6, and mankind in His own image, during His creation7;
- that Satan is a real personality8 and an evil presence in the world;
- in the pre-existence9, incarnation, virgin birth10, sinless nature and life11, miracles12, substitutionary death13, bodily resurrection14, ascension to heaven15, and personal return of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ16;
- in the total depravity of the nature of man17 and the entrance of death into the world through his fall in the Garden of Eden18, and the absolute inability of man to save himself from eternal punishment by his own works19.
- in the regeneration of man by the grace of God20 and the work of the Holy Spirit21, which is available to whoever comes to Christ through faith in His finished work on the cross22;
- in the spiritual relationship of all believers with the Lord Jesus Christ23 and witnessing to His saving grace24 and living a life of good works25 and service, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit26.

3. VISION STATEMENT
From the principles in our Philosophy statement, the College develops the following beliefs about the College and its community.
The College exists
- to support Parents, as they fulfil their responsibilities as the primary educator of their children. The College is an extension of homes that support the Christian values held by the College;
- to help students understand that they are to see life from God's point of view. Students are encouraged to test what they learn against the Scriptures, not only in the Sciences, but in all subjects;
- to build a college community based on self discipline, respect and love for others regardless of race, religion, socio‑economic circumstances, gender or abilities;
- to provide a high quality Christian education for young people, relevant to Australia and the global communities, that will help to prepare them for participation in society, including the work force;
- to recognise the contribution of parents in education and to involve them in the program; and
- to develop the competence, efficiency and confidence of teachers and their participation in the life of the College.
4. MISSION STATEMENT
The College seeks to provide a range of quality and Christ-honouring learning resources, and an environment catering for individual needs, which develop each child’s God given potential through the co-operative efforts of teachers, parents and the students.
5. THE WESTMINSTER CONFESSION OF FAITH
In addition to the above-stated general Statements of Faith, we accept and adopt the Westminster Confession of Faith as our formal understanding of the Christian Bible.
